Is this just a chatbot with an academic theme?
No. The distinction is structural, not cosmetic: every extracted fact carries a citation back to the document it came from, every AI-drafted item stays in Proposed status until you approve it, and approving an edit creates a new version rather than silently overwriting your prior approval. See the comparison above — none of that is standard chatbot behavior.
Will it assign grades for me?
No. The Feedback Assistant explicitly declines any request framed as asking it to assign or suggest a grade. Grading judgment stays yours, by design, not as a disclaimer.
What does "preview build" mean?
Adjunct Ally is currently a demonstration build. The course you'll see when you click through is a clearly labeled fictional example, so you can experience the real interaction model — sign-in, extraction, roadmap, approvals — before anything is connected to a live account. Nothing about the demo is presented as a live integration.
What happens to my course data if I want it gone?
You can request full deletion of your account and course data. That's a designed workflow, not an afterthought — and we'd rather tell you exactly what it covers than round up.
Does it work with my institution's LMS?
Not yet. Today, Adjunct Ally works from the documents you upload directly. LMS integration is a real possibility, not a built feature — we won't claim it before it exists.
